The Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT) has updated the status of Spring Weight Restrictions, Effective at 9 a.m. on Monday, March 14. Those restrictions will be "lifted from the southern Michigan border north to and including I-196 from Allegan County to Holland, to I-96 from Grand Rapids to Lansing, then from I-69 in Lansing to Port Huron in St. Clair County. Frost restrictions are still in effect for the remainder of the state and will be imposed and enforced on all state trunkline highways north of the I-196, I-96, I-69 line."
