The Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT) has updated the status of Spring Weight Restrictions, Effective at 9 a.m. on Monday, March 28. Those restrictions will be "lifted from the southern Michigan border north to and including US-10 Mason County, Ludington east to US-127 Clare County north to M-61 east to Arenac County, Standish. Frost restrictions are still in effect for the remainder of the state and will be imposed and enforced on all state trunkline highways north of the US-10 and M-61 line. State trunkline highways typically carry M, I, or US designations."
